A celebration of the senses all summer long, the Vineyard Artisan Festival is not duplicated anywhere else on Martha’s Vineyard, featuring as it does upwards of 70 artists who live and work on the island, standing ready to chat, elucidate, and sell their unique wares, all of it taking place in the sepia-and-gold tinted light of the iconic Grange Hall
Imagine entering the cavern-sized space and talking to Carol Tripp who raises sheep and, after the wool is cleaned, spins it in front of you. She then weaves it into shawls, blankets, scarves, and hats. Or meet Lisa Strachan, who creates fine porcelain ceramics. From hand-made jewelry to hand-forged iron brackets, the Vineyard Artisan Festivals serves up treasures for your home, your person, wardrobe, plus gifts for friends and family, brides and grooms.
