Artists for Obama
More than 40 Island artists are coming together this week in support of Barack Obama. On Sunday, Oct. 12, from 3 to 7 pm, and Monday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 6 pm, Dragonfly Gallery, located in the Oak Bluffs Arts District, will host a unique fundraiser for the Obama/Biden campaign. Works donated by the artists will be available at the two-day event for a minimum donation of $100. Apart from raising money, the organizers hope that the fundraiser will inspire community support.
