"Mediterranea" at Capawock
"Mediterranea" is the next installation in the Capawock Theatre's Sunday opera and ballet series. Performed by La Scala Corp de Ballet and presented in high definition with surround sound, this energetic ballet incorporates musical genres ranging from popular Turkish music to archaic Grecian melodies, along with the music of Austrian composers Ligeti and Mozart. Admission is $15; $12 for seniors and students with ID card.

Willy Mason booked
The West Tisbury Public Library hosts a free concert with Willy Mason on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 5 pm. The West Tisbury singer/songwriter, who has gained international recognition touring with bands such as Radiohead, Death Cab For Cutie, and Ben Kweller, will perform songs from his two albums, as well as new, yet unrecorded material.
