You will want to see this. A 12-minute short film on the residents of Windemere will be shown this Saturday night at 7:30 pm at the Katharine Cornell Theatre. Richard Paradise and the Martha's Vineyard Film Society are raising funds for Windemere with this special screening plus the excellent documentary "Young @ Heart." The highlight of this last film is a chorus of elderly men and women singing Bob Dylan's "Forever Young" for youthful prison inmates in a Massachusetts prison. Don't miss this treat on Saturday night.

You know that even the little children don't miss much of what is happening. Penny Uhlendorf reports that a kindergarten student was peeking through the fence on election day. He saw her joining the sideline campaigners on the sidewalk outside the school. He asked her what all the signs were for. She told him the signs were to help us to vote for the right person. He thought about it, and then asked, "Obama?"
