Achievements
Stanley Dutton of Oak Bluffs recently received his second-degree black belt in martial arts. Stanley is 16 years old and has been taking martial arts for 11 years.
Elin R. Nelson of West Tisbury was recently recognized by the 2009 National Merit Scholarship for her scores on a qualifying test. Elin, the daughter of Jeffrey Nelson and Dawne Charters-Nelson, is one of 12 Falmouth Academy students recognized for this honor.
Constance Breese, DVM, of Sea Breeze Veterinary Service in West Tisbury, was invited to attend the Purina Mills Veterinary Conference in St. Louis, Mo. Ms. Breese learned the latest information from equine health researchers and earned 16 hours of Continuing Education Credits.

Noelle Wetherall of West Tisbury recently received a registered nursing degree from Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y. Noelle is the daughter of Tom Wetherall.
Luke Bartkus of West Tisbury received a bachelor of science in pre-veterinary medicine from Hampshire College in Amherst. Luke is the son of Lorraine Eldridge and John Bartkus.

Kayla B. Bundza
Gina Williams and Brian Bundza of Edgartown and Milton, N.H., announce the birth of their daughter, Kayla Belle Bundza, on January 3 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. Kayla weighed 5 pounds, 2 ounces.
