Achievements

The Martha's Vineyard Regional High School's Drama Department recently made it to the semi-final round of the Massachusetts High School Drama Festival with their original play, "Letters."

Norman Bridwell of Edgartown was recently honored by his hometown of Kokomo, Ind., for his 81st birthday with a Clifford Big Red Event on February 15. A permanent exhibit entitled "Never Give Up on Your Dreams" was installed at the Kokomo/Horward County Library.

The following junior high students were recently accepted into the Massachusetts Southeast District Music Festival: Samantha Bunker, Olivia de Geofroy, Megan Mendenhall, Lexi Willett, Olivia Becchio, Charlotte Benjamin, Sammi Chaves, Claudia Taylor, Eli Dagostino, Sarah Ortlip-Sommers, Maggie Riseborough, Samantha Valley, Sophie Nelson, Henry O'Shaughnessy, and Tayla Kuehne.

Thiago F. Mendes

Kamilla Santana and Tiago Mendes of Edgartown announce the birth of their son, Thiago Filho Mendes, on February 24 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Thiago weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces.

Dean's list
