Achievements
Jesse Boswell of Oak Bluffs attended a Youth Summit for Sustainable Development in Virgin Gorda, B.V.I. in January. Jesse, a student at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, is studying African American studies. She is planning a Vineyard Youth Summit for young leaders of color from Boston and Martha's Vineyard this summer.
Lacey J. McIntosh of Edgartown was recently selected as the 2008-2009 student doctor of the year by the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine.
The Junior High Orchestra recently traveled to the regional String Jamboree at the Quashnet Middle School in Mashpee. More than 300 other middle school musicians participated.
Genevieve Flanders of Chilmark is participating in this year's Alternative Spring Break to do volunteer work. The daughter of Joyanne and Steven Flanders, Genevieve is a student at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.

Becca Morrow of Vineyard Haven and James W. Klingensmith of Edgartown announce their engagement. Becca is the daughter of Ms. Lee Dixon of Valatie, N.Y. James is the son of Crystell and Raymond Prada of Oak Bluffs. A September 19 wedding is planned.

Malia A. Bodnar
Meg and Jay Bodnar of Aquinnah announce the birth of their daughter, Malia Austin Bodnar, on March 3 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Malia weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces.
Zora S. Morias
Mathea and Chicke Morais of Chilmark announce the birth of their daughter, Zora Safia Morais, on March 3 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Zora weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and joins sisters Isabella and Delilah Quinones.
Lethicia M. Diniz
Daniela and Erlande Diniz of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their daughter, Lethicia Malagoli Diniz, on March 4, at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Lethicia weighed 9 pounds.
Aubrey N. Warburton
Noelle and Nicholas Warburton of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their daughter, Aubrey Noelle Warburton, on March 7, at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Aubrey weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces.
Keira A. Willoughby
Cheranne Willoughby of Oak Bluffs announces the birth of her daughter, Keira Anne Willoughby, on March 10 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Keira weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces.
