Plum TV of Martha's Vineyard (channel 76) recently won an Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The channel has also been nominated for New England Emmy awards, which will be announced May 30.
The Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society announces their 2009 Grant awards: Breezy Pines Farms, The FARM Institute, Down Island Farm, Glenn Jackson, Vineyard Open Land Foundation, and Whiting Farm.

Benjamin E. Kokoszka
Erin and Mark Kokoszka of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their son, Benjamin Edward Kokoszka, on April 5 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. Benjamin weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and joins sister Sophia.
Isadora A. Cordeiro
Alexsandra A. Silva and Silas Cordeiro of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their daughter, Isadora Andrade Cordeiro, on April 20 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Isadora weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces.
