Photography contest
To celebrate Della Hardman Day, the Oak Bluffs Library is sponsoring a photography contest for their 2010 calendar with Ms. Hardman's legacy theme "Savor the moment." Known for her work as an artist, educator, and writer, Ms. Hardman died in December 2005.
Submissions will be judged based on the representation of the overall theme and the depiction of the particular month and season. Judges Alison Shaw, Donalexander Goss, and Francine Kelly will choose 14 photos for the calendar, and an exhibition is planned for a representative sample of works submitted. The deadline is May 29. To submit, visit the library, the website (oakbluffslibrary.org), or call 508-693-9433.
