TERMS OF SALE:
A deposit of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND 00 CENTS ($5,000.00) in the form of a certified check or bank treasurer's check will be required to be delivered at or before the time the bid is offered. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Foreclosure Sale Agreement immediately after the close of the bidding. The balance of the purchase price shall be paid within thirty (30) days from the sale date in the form of a certified check, bank treasurer's check or other check satisfactory to Mortgagee's attorney. The Mortgagee reserves the right to bid at the sale, to reject any and all bids, to continue the sale and to amend the terms of the sale by written or oral announcement made before or during the foreclosure sale. If the sale is set aside for any reason, the Purchaser at the sale shall be entitled only to a return of the deposit paid. The purchaser shall have no further recourse against the Mortgagor, the Mortgagee or the Mortgagee's attorney. The description of the premises contained in said mortgage shall control in the event of an error in this publication. TIME WILL BE OF THE ESSENCE.

"USE OF SIGHTSEEING BUS STANDS AT THE
VINEYARD HAVEN TERMINAL"
CONTRACT NO. 04-12
Bid documents can be obtained from the Steamship Authority's Procurement Officer by calling (508) 548-5011, extension 515.
The Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority (the “Authority”) has two (2) available sightseeing bus stands at its Vineyard Haven Terminal for use from April 1, 2012 through October 31, 2013. Appropriately licensed tour bus operators who are interested in obtaining a license to use a bus stand at that terminal are invited to submit a bid, in the form attached hereto, to enter into an “Agreement for Vineyard Haven Terminal Bus Stand(s)” with the Authority.
The Authority may award one (1) Agreement for both bus stands or two (2) separate Agreements for each individual bus stand at the sole discretion of the Authority. The award will be based on the highest bid for the use of each tour bus stand (minimum bid for each tour bus stand will be $5,000.00). A twenty percent (20%) commission will also be paid by each successful bidder to the Authority on all sightseeing tickets sold by the Authority for transportation on the bus tours.
The Steamship Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to modify or amend with the consent of the bidder any bid prior to acceptance, and to waive any informality, all as the Authority in its sole judgment and discretion may deem to be in the public interest.
