Island Fuel, Inc. was started in February of 2008 and is managed by Jay McMann. Before moving to the Island in 1998 Jay McMann owned and operated McMann Oil Inc. which he established in 1976. In 1988 McMann Oil, Inc acquired Bermingham Oil, Inc. and became known as McMann-Bermingham Oil. McMann-Bermingham was sold to alliance in 1997.
On Island Storage
Island Fuel, Inc has recently received approval from the Martha’s Vineyard Commission to build an on Island state of the art storage facility located in the town of Tisbury. We just received a building permit from the Tisbury building department and construction will begin shortly.
