Martha's Vineyard Restaurant

This hot spot at Tisbury Marketplace is owned by Sam Dunn, who built the marketplace and its small collection of shops in the 1980s. His son Sam is the chef of Saltwater.  With its high ceilings, wheat, walnut and sky-blue color scheme and giant windows overlooking Vineyard Haven’s inner harbor, Saltwater is a lovely setting for the younger Dunn’s simple daily menu of island-grown and hooked ingredients.

Our restaurant draws upon fresh ingredients, sourced from local purveyors whenever possible, to create simple and comfortable American cuisine.  Our menu features several wood-fired grilled seafood and meat dishes, as well as a raw bar featuring island oysters.

Reservations are suggested but we try to accomodate everyone!
