Located 4 miles out to sea on the Island of Martha's Vineyard, Farm Neck Golf Club rests on a peninsula (or "neck") of rolling farmland on the eastern side of the Island, overlooking Nantucket Sound. Established as a semi private club in 1979, Farm Neck is open to the public for golf, tennis and dining from April until December. We welcome everyone to come and enjoy the serenity and breathtaking beauty of our classic New England seaside landscape while playing 18 holes of championship caliber golf - or game of tennis with friends - or perhaps just to stop by for a bite to eat at the Café.
The Farm Neck Foundation was established in 1989 to mark the 10th anniversary of Farm Neck Golf Club and expand upon the belief that we had a shared responsibility to "give back" to our island community. From its inception, Farm Neck's guiding principles have been dedicated to creating a very unique place, sensitive to both the land and community. In addition to being good stewards of the land, the Board of Directors believed we had an obligation to assist our fellow Islander however and whenever we could.
The formation of Farm Neck Foundation was our way to put words into action and demonstrate our shared commitment to give something back. The Foundation is funded by annual donations from Farm Neck members, friends and admirers. Every year since, the Foundation has been making grants to Islanders in need of assistance. Since its creation, the Foundation has given over $600,000 to Island charities and civic minded organizations working to preserve, protect and promote all the things that make the Vineyard the very special place it is.
