With 20 years of experience, Dr. Michelle McCrumb provides products and services covering ankle problems, diabetic shoe program, foot disorders, podiatry, and sports injury treatment.
“When your feet hurt, you hurt all over." We hear that a lot,” states Dr. Michelle McCrumb of Heel & Sole Podiatry. Dr. McCrumb has been practicing podiatry on Martha’s Vineyard for the last 22 years. She has completed coursework through Harvard Medical School on diabetic foot management. Dr. McCrumb completed her surgical training with Harvard Teaching Hospitals in 1984, and has been inn private practice since that time. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and is Board Certified in Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine. Her practice includes medical, surgical, and biomechanical treatment of all foot and walking complaints.
“Our patients range in age from one to one hundred, and we treat all types of foot problems, everything from heel pain to infections to broken bones and everything in between. We also focus on education and prevention of injuries, especially in diabetics, " she added. The office accepts assignment from Medicare, Blue Cross and Harvard Pilgrim as well as participating in the Medicare diabetic shoe program.
Her office is located at 395 State Road in Vineyard Haven. The office is easily accessible to patients with ambulatory problems and wheelchair patients.
