We are more than 100,000 people like you who want to protect the places we love or simply like to be outdoors. Together with our neighbors we preserve the distinct character of our community and inspire a commitment to special places across the commonwealth. Our passion is to share with everyone the irreplaceable landscapes and landmarks that we care for – as we know how valuable they are to our everyday life. On Martha’s Vineyard we care for 7 distinct places from Chilmark to Chappaquiddick and we offer guided tours on some of our refuges all summer long!

Explore Felix Neck’s four miles of trails, which provide spectacular views of the surrounding woodlands, meadows, ponds, salt marsh, and barrier beach. In the summer, enjoy watching a nesting pair of ospreys and a tree swallow colony. From the observation building, look for waterfowl in the pond during the fall and winter. Year-round, visit our Nature Center and Discovery Room to see barn owls nesting in the barn dormer through our owl cam.
