Last weekend, the Vineyarders kicked off the regional high school's 2008 Homecoming festivities, crushing the Charlestown team, 42 to 8. The celebration continued in the evening, when students from all grades dressed in party attire converged under the large tent set up in a courtyard at the high school. Hors d'oeuvres were served as the crowd awaited the kings and queens to be named. Each announcement brought shouts and applause. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, cake, and a lot of enthusiasm.

The 2008 Martha's Vineyard Regional High School kings and queens are as follows: freshman William Stewart and Hanna Persson, sophomores Ben Cicciora and Amanda Rose, juniors Forrest Harcourt and Lauren Grey, and seniors Cody Brewer and Sophie Lew.
