Arts District Gallery Stroll
An enthusiastic mixture of Islanders, visitors, and artists strolled along the Arts District on Dukes County Avenue for the third annual Oak Bluffs Arts District Stroll. The Stroll this past Saturday, July 18, featured art galleries Amity Custom Ink, Alison Shaw Gallery, PIKNIK Art & Apparel, Dragonfly Gallery, Lucinda's Enamels, Red Mannequin, and Stefanie Wolf Designs. There were refreshments, lively music, and an art scene where everywhere one looked there was something to catch the eye. The variety of original work included sculpture, clothing, accessories, jewelry, photography, and paintings. Along with enjoying the displays, there was an active communal spirit in the air as visitors talked, lingered, and took in the art.
