Heather Jardin and Jesse Ward
Heather Jardin and Jesse Ward, both of Vineyard Haven, announce their engagement. Heather is the daughter of the late Lynn Jardin of Edgartown and Peter Fortin of Acushnet. Jesse is the son of Jo Ann Briggs of Vineyard Haven and Robin Ward of Greenfield. A June 2010 wedding is planned.

Adele Godfrey-Certner and Ryan Meron were married on June 20 at Edgartown Lighthouse Beach. Adele is the daughter of Dorie Godfrey and Ira Certner of Edgartown. Ryan is the son of Terry and Marlene Meron of Plattsburgh, N.Y. The couple will reside in Albany, N.Y.

Amanda E. Schwab of Vineyard Haven recently received a bachelor of arts in psychology from Lyndon State College in Lyndon Center, Vt.

Dina S. BenDavid of Edgartown was recently awarded scholarships from the American Legion and The International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons for her Master's of Science degree program to become a family nurse practitioner
