Stefanie Wolf Fisher and Charles Fisher of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their daughter, Sofia Denise Fisher, on September 2 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Sofia weighed 8 pounds.

Cindy and Adam Wansiewicz of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Wansiewicz at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Hannah weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
Achievements
Julie Pringle of Tisbury recently received the Advanced Placement Scholar award from the College Board due to her excellent performance on three Advanced Placement exams. Julie is a senior at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School.
Desiree D. Richards received her Medical Assistant degree from the Salter School in Fall River on July 31, with a GPA of 4.0. Desiree is the daughter of Donné Richards and Elizabeth Ventura of Edgartown. She has recently been employed by Vineyard Scripts as a pharmacist assistant.
