Nancy Lin and Hesi Chen of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their daughter, Aliya Chen, on Sept. 14 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Aliya weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces.
Victoria L. Mercer
Owen and Jennifer Mercer of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of their daughter, Victoria Lynn Mercer, on Sept. 17 at Anna Jaques Hospital. Victoria weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces.
Cole P. Reed
Shelly Jones and Philip Reed of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of their son, Cole Philip Reed, on Sept. 18 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Cole weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

Nate Hurwitz of Chilmark recently completed a 135-day course in Patagonia with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). During the course, Nate also completed an 80-hour Wilderness First Responder course.
