Achievements
The Tower Foundation awarded the Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, and West Tisbury schools each a $2,000 grant, along with an additional $2,000 that will be shared between the schools, from the Middle School Science Laboratory Equipment Mini-Grant.
Steve Lohman of West Tisbury was recently commissioned to create more than 350 sculptures for the opening of Louis Vuitton stores Hong Kong and Singapore.

Patty and Skip Vanderwarker of Spring Island, S.C., and Vineyard Haven announce the marriage of their daughter, Meredith, to Tucker Martin, on June 13 in West Chop. Mr. Martin is the son of Patty and Emerson Martin of New Canaan, Conn. The couple lives in New York, N.Y.

Talia Rogers and Sean Geddis of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of their son, Isaiah Dennis John Geddis, on December 12 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Isaiah weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces.

Elissa Lash and Christopher Roberts of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of their daughter, Carlotta Josephine Lash Roberts, on December 12 at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Carlotta weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce.

Christina Diaz recently received a Master's Degree in Renaissance from the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ms. Diaz studied in the College of Humanities and Social Science in Renaissance to Enlightenment.
Steven Mathais of Oak Bluffs recently graduated from the Massachusetts State Police Municipal Police Academy.
