There are plenty of places to dine and save money this winter on the Island.

The Ocean View in Oak Bluffs brings back their popular Lobster Night every Wednesday. For $15.99, get a baked or boiled lobster, and help yourself to the salad bar. Roast Prime Rib Night is every Saturday ($17.99, including salad bar). And, in celebration of the restaurant's 30th anniversary, the bar offers rollback prices, day and night, eat-in-only. A burger with fries is $3.99, a cheeseburger is $4.59, and the East Chop Burger Salad is $4.99.

Slice of Life in Oak Bluffs offers a constant take-out-only special: get two cheese pizzas for $12 (regularly $8.50 each) for lunch or dinner. And on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, find family-style specials that feed four for $32.

In West Tisbury, State Road Restaurant continues its Sunday Table menu. Every Sunday, find a new menu featuring salads, pizza, and other hearty dishes. The menu, which is posted weekly on Facebook, has recently included Sliced Prime Rib Pizza ($14), Pan Fried Fish Cakes ($11/$21), and Menemsha Lobster ($16).

David Ryan's in Edgartown has daily $5 and $10 specials. Five-dollar specials include Tuna Melts on Tuesdays, Chicken Parmesan on Saturdays, and BLTs on Sundays. Ten-dollar specials include Thai Chicken Curry on Tuesdays, Fish 'n' Chips on Friday, and Seafood Mac and Cheese on Sundays. (For the full list, see their ad in The Times.)

Serving dinner Wednesday through Sunday, Deon's Restaurant in Oak Bluffs offers a two-for-one on Thursday; and a three-course prix fixe dinner for $19.99 on Friday. And on Saturday, find $1 Red Stripe beers with the Jerk Chicken dinner.

Nicky's Italian Cafe in Vineyard Haven has recently started serving carry-out lunch. All items are $7 or less. And they will reinstate their 20 percent off a second entrée coupon next week in The Times.

The Grill on Main in Edgartown offers two-for-one entrees on Friday nights; in Oak Bluffs, Offshore Ale Co. and Zapotec offer two-for-ones on Mondays. Lattanzi's in Edgartown offers buy one entree, get one free on Fridays and Saturdays (with their ad in The Times). Also, get a $9.95 one-topping pizza Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Five nights a week, find special prices at Seasons, located in Oak Bluffs. Tuesday is $5 Burger Nite, Wednesday is $12.95 Pasta Nite, Thursday is 25 percent off sushi, Friday is Seafood Nite, and Sunday is Steak Nite.

On certain nights, The Wharf in Edgartown offers specialty entrees - Southwest on Tuesday, Corned Beef and Cabbage on Wednesday, Prime Rib on Friday, and Turkey dinner on Sunday.

Mediterranean in Oak Bluffs continues a tapas special throughout the winter. Find $2 tapas at the bar Wednesday through Sunday.

And Sharky's continues to text and email their spur-of-the-moment specials to VIPs, and always offers 50 menu items under $10 at both locations.

New this year, the Portuguese-American Club has opened their kitchen on a regular basis. However, you have to be a member, or a guest of a member, to enter the club. Menu items include Steak and Cheese with peppers, onions, and mushrooms ($7); Jersey Dog, a deep dried hot dog smothered in spicy onions, with potato chips and pickle ($5); and Chicken Tenders in your choice of plain, Buffalo, teriyaki, and honey BBQ sauce ($6; $6.50 for Buffalo).
