This winter, ArtCliff Diner brings back dinner for the first time in three years. Since the end of January, chef and owner Regina Stanley, with the help of other Island chefs, cook a variety of small plates and entrees Thursdays through Saturdays. Get there fast because March 13 is the last night of the season.

This past Saturday, the menu included smaller plates: arugula and fried potato salad with tapenade and chevre ($8); sweet potato ravioli with ricotta sauce ($9), and crab and avocado wontons with soy dipping sauce ($11), among others.

Entrees included venison osso buco with acorn squash, fried shallots, and red wine cranberry sauce ($19), and pan-seared scallops, parsnip puree, carrot ribbons, and basil ($17).

Prices range from $7 to $19, not including the specials (there were five on Saturday). Dinner is served from 5:30 to 9:30 pm, and reservations are not accepted.
