Hyman "Hy" Hoffman of Oak Bluffs died on Wednesday morning, Oct. 1, at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital. He was 83. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Hoffman. He is survived by his children: Steven and Robert Hoffman, Julie Hursey and Ann Hoffman, and his companion, Corinne Moran. A graveside service for the burial of his cremains will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery located in Oak Bluffs on Wed., Oct. 8, at 11 am with military honors provided by the Martha's Vineyard Veterans.
