Obituary : Wilfred A. Lawrence
Wilfred A. Lawrence of Edgartown died on Sunday, Nov. 2, at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. He was 91.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, from 10 to 11:30 am in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, located on the Vineyard Haven-Edgartown Road in Oak Bluffs. This will be followed by a mass of Christian burial at 12 noon in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, located on Massasoit Avenue in Oak Bluffs. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, located on Vineyard Avenue in Oak Bluffs.
Wilfred is survived by his three children; Carl of Oak Bluffs, William of South Berwick, Maine and Patricia of Edgartown. Donations in Wilfred's name may be made to a charity of one's choice. A complete obituary will appear in a future edition of The Martha's Vineyard Times.
