Obituary : Ernest U. Curelli

Ernest U. Curelli of East Boston, formerly of Beverly, Mass., and Beverly Hills, Fla., died on January 25. He was 87. He was the beloved husband of the late Elena J. (Sullo) Curelli.

He was the devoted father of John and his wife, Jane, of Oak Bluffs, and Tom and his wife, Susan, of Two Rivers, Wisc. Ernie was the brother of Gloria and her husband, Alan Mills, of Sandwich, and Rudy Curelli of Marstons Mills. He was the beloved grandfather of Nicholas Curelli and his wife Nicole of Oak Bluffs; Benjamin of South Boston; Diane Curelli of St. Paul, Minn.; and Stephen Curelli of Hancock, Mich. He also leaves his beloved family from Wisconsin: Nathalie, Daniel, and Katy Schweigl of Manitowoc.

Visitation hours are on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 10 am in the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, located at 5 Canton Avenue in Milton, followed by a funeral mass in St. Angela's Church, located in Mattapan. at 11 am. Interment follows in Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston.

A memorial mass will be held on Island on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 10 am in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, located on Massasoit Avenue in Oak Bluffs.
