John W. Stahl, Martha's Vineyard

John is survived by his six daughters: Debbie Stevenson, her husband, John, and daughter, Kasey, of Oak Bluffs; Renee Dutton, her husband, David, and son, Stanley, of Oak Bluffs; Julie Perry, her husband Erik and daughters Hannah and Sarah; Jamie Stahl of Plymouth; and Leeanna and Bridget Stahl of Franklin. He is survived by his brothers: Rick and his wife, Patrizia; and Gary of New York.

John was a man full of life who played minor league baseball and later became a precision machinist making everything from medical supplies to the Gyros for the Stealth Bomber.

John took great pride in his work but his biggest pride was in his family. He was the best dad, who loved his girls unconditionally and the greatest Papa to all his grandchildren.

We will miss his hugs, 'smooches,' stories, and advice. A private memorial was held on March 9, his 62nd birthday, in Franklin.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in John's name.
