Raymond F. Billings, 78, of Vineyard Haven died on Wednesday, April 29, at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. He was the husband of Doris M. Billings.

Visiting hours are Friday evening, May 1 from 6 to 8 pm in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, located on the Edgartown- Vineyard Haven Road in Oak Bluffs. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, May 2 at 11 am. A funeral procession will follow to the Oak Grove Cemetery located on State Road, Vineyard Haven for a 12 noon graveside service. Donations in Mr. Billings' memory may be made to the local animal shelter care of the County of Dukes County, noting on the check's memo line that the donation is for the animal shelter.
