Obituary : Barbara N. Hanover
Barbara N. Hanover of Oak Bluffs and Ft. Myers, Fla., died on Tuesday, June 2, at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital. She was 78.
Barbara was born in Quincy on December 11, 1930, to Stuart and Isabel Winters Nelson. She was a graduate of Quincy North High School. While attending Boston University, she met her future husband, Harold S. Hanover. They were married January 14, 1950, at the B.U Chapel. They moved to California and had their two sons, Marc Nelson and Randy Siede.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband Harold and her son Randy. She is survived by her son, Marc, and his wife, Toni, of Oak Bluffs, and five grandchildren, Kevin and Robyn Hanover, Jaime and Samantha Billings, and Antone Lima; a brother, Stuart Nelson and his wife, Judy, of Laconia, N.H., and a sister, Lorrie Daniels and her husband Robert, of Quincy.
