Obituary : Lawrence E. Shedd
Lawrence "Larry" E. Shedd, 49, of the Blue Moon Farm in South Danbury, N.H., died August 1, from a drowning accident at Quansoo Beach, while vacationing with his wife in Chilmark. He was born in Concord on September 9, 1959, son of Deane and Karlene (Skoldberg) Shedd.

Mr. Shedd lived in Andover for most of his life and schooled there and Kearsarge High School in Sutton. He enjoyed spending time at his camp at Maidstone Lake in Vermont.
Mr. Shedd was a self-employed finish carpenter and craftsman. He had a love for life and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Andover Snowmobile Club and Maidstone Lake Association in Vermont and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
His family includes his wife Jeannette F. (Davis) Shedd, sons Tucker Peters and Eli Shedd, and daughter Haley Peters, all of South Danbury.
A celebration of Larry's life and burial in Proctor Cemetery in Andover, N.H., was held Wednesday under the direction of the William F. Smart Senior Memorial Home (smartfuneralhome.com). The family suggests that donations in his name be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH, 814 Elm St., Suite 300, Manchester, NH 03101.
