Obituary : Dorothy J. (Mackey) Dole
Dorothy J. (Mackey) Dole of Norwood and Martha's Vineyard died on August 29. The beloved wife of the late John V. Dole, she was the devoted mother of Dorothy L. Koesler and her husband, Peter, of Naples, Fla., Kevin B. Dole MD of Dover, and Dennis G. Dole of Norwood.
She was the cherished grandmother of Christine and Bryan Koesler, Monique Lotze and her husband, Michael, Christian and Andrew Dole; the loving sister of the late Robert E. Mackey Jr.
The funeral was held at the Gillooly Funeral Home in Norwood on Wednesday, Sept. 2 and was followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Norwood at 9 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home were Tuesday, Sept. 1. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Development Office, P.O. Box 1477, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557.
