Obituary : Kevin Knox
The world of comedy lost a great friend Monday when Kevin Knox died after a six-year battle with cancer at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was 53 years old.
Kevin was a Vineyard favorite and could be seen on several television talk shows, movies, and numerous charitable events.
His last Island performance was this past August at Seasons Eatery and Pub, with his best friend, the legendary Island comedian Lenny Clarke.
Known as Knoxie by friends, his name was synonymous when you mentioned the word comedy on the Vineyard. He formulated a brand of nonstop, energetic standup that no one could match. He will be sorely missed as a dear friend and comedian.
