Owner Karen Cimeno says her goal is to stay open year-round once again.

Mainland meal delivery available on-Island
Fresch & Holsums, an all-natural prepared meals market based
in Mashpee and Hyannis, is offering free next day delivery of all
the companys natural entrees, side dishes, appetizers and desserts
to any Island home or office through March 31.
A company flyer, which only refers to Cape Cod delivery service, is
inserted in this weeks issue of The Times.
Polly Papsadore, co-owner of Fresch & Holsum, said the flyer was
printed before she learned that the Island was within the delivery
contract negotiated with Federal Express.
Ms. Papsadore said she thinks the service will be most appreciated
by senior residents who may have difficulty getting around during
the winter months.
According to a press release, Fresch & Holsums offers over
50 all-natural menu items every day, including appetizers, entrees,
side dishes, desserts and kids meals. No artificial sweeteners,
colors, flavors, hydrogenated oils, or synthetic preservatives are
used in its meals, which are prepared by hand, then vacuum sealed
and quick frozen to naturally preserve premium taste and texture.
Its meals can be warmed in the microwave or conventional oven in minutes.
The business began after Ms. Papsadore, a busy mother and professional
with very limited cooking skills and no free time, hired Cindy Parker,
a personal chef, to prepare meals in advance for her family. The convenience
of having a dozen prepared meals in the freezer gave the women an
idea for a business and the rest, as they say, is history.
