BUSINESS BRIEFS
April 14, 2005

South of the border on Circuit Avenue

Cafe Ole, a popular Mexican restaurant on Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs, has a new name and new owners.

Josh Aronie and Jesse Martin of the Park Corner Bistro and JB Blau of Jabas Gallery are the new owners, and the new name is Sharky’s Cantina. An opening is planned for May 19.

According to a press release, Sharky’s Cantina will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a late-night menu, “and the famous Park Corner Bistro Brunch will be served all season long.”

Architect featured in home magazine

Hutker Architects of Tisbury and Falmouth is featured in the spring issue of Beautiful Homes Magazine.

The article, titled “Framing a View,” highlights a low-profile home designed to take in dramatic views from nearly every room of an Aquinnah residence. Because of zoning requirements, the house could only be one story. For more information, visit the Hutker Architects web site at www.hutkerarchitects.com.

Air service starts to Providence and N.Y.C.

Daily air service on Cape Air from Martha’s Vineyard to Providence, R.I. will begin on May 13, according to a press release provided by the Martha’s Vineyard Airport.

US Airways service to and from La Guardia Airport in New York begins on May 26, and to Washington, D.C. in mid-June.

For more information, call Cape Air at 800-352-0714 and US Airways at 800-428-4322.
