Attorney specializing in estate planning joins Edgartown firm
The Edgartown law firm of Reynolds, Rappaport and Kaplan announced
that Jennifer Rako will join the firm in June. According to a press
release, Ms. Rakos practice will concentrate in the areas of
estate planning, estate settlement, and trust administration.
Ms. Rako is a member of the Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut
bar associations.
Sharon Purdy joins real estate elite
Sharon Purdy, owner of Sandpiper Realty Inc. in Edgartown, recently
participated in the Third Annual Luxury Brokers Retreat of Whos
Who in Luxury Real Estate at the prestigious Charleston Place Hotel
in Charleston, S.C.
Ms. Purdy is a member of the board of regents for Whos Who,
which is the advisory counsel for a network of real estate firms specializing
in global luxury real estate, according to a press release.
The participants included real estate brokers and agents from more
than 100 different markets across North America. The Whos Who
in Luxury Real Estate network consists of boutique and specialty real
estate firms catering to the demands of the growing international
luxury real estate marketplace.
The web site, www.LuxuryRealEstate.com,
currently provides access to more than 30,000 properties from around
the world, with an average price of $2.65 million.
Island realtor wins professional honor
Caroline Taylor of Caroline Taylor Properties in Edgartown recently
received two professional designations.
The Council of Residential Specialists, an affiliate of the National
Association of Realtors, awarded Ms. Taylor the Certified Residential
Specialist designation after she completed advanced courses in real
estate and demonstrated professional expertise in the field of real
estate, according to a press release.
And the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council of the National Association
of Realtors awarded her the Accredited Buyer Representative Designation
based on comprehensive coursework and documentation verifying professional
expertise representing buyers. |
