Business Briefs September 8, 2005 MV Co-operative Bank hires new mortgage lender Tim Lowe, senior lending officer at the Martha's Vineyard Co-operative Bank, announced this week that the bank has appointed Tammy King as the new residential mortgage originator. In her new position, Ms. King will handle all types of home mortgage loans, purchases and refinancing, affordable housing, first-time home purchases, construction loans, equity loans, and lines of credit. Prior to her appointment as mortgage originator, Ms. King had worked as a mortgage processor and administrative assistant to the lending department at the bank. She also has experience as a real estate transaction coordinator and as an assistant office manager for Coldwell Banker. Mr. Lowe said, "All of this, in addition to her familiarity with the Island, allows her to provide our customers with the kind of relevant expertise, insight and personal service that are hallmarks of the Martha's Vineyard Co-operative Bank."
