BUSINESS BRIEFS December 23, 2004 Thorncroft Inn named best overall by Inn Traveler The Thorncroft Inn on Main Street in Vineyard Haven has been named on a 2005 list of “Best overall B&B/Inn” compiled by Arrington’s Inn Traveler Magazine. According to a press release, the list is based on voting by inn guests and marks the second time the inn was recognized in the magazine. In 2002, it was recognized for “best turndown service.” The inn is owned and operated by Karl and Lynn Buder. “We have received awards in the past but this one is especially gratifying because the traveling public voted for us,” said Mr. Buder. “As we enter our 25th year of inn-keeping we feel energized. We are meeting the high expectations of our target market in uncertain economic times and we are having a lot of fun doing it.”
