Louisa Gould Photography & Gallery

Louisa Gould established the gallery in 2003 as the island's only contemporary photography gallery. Given Louisa's specialty for yachting photography the gallery started with a strong marine theme. Since 2003, the gallery has expanded to include other artists and mediums; oil painting, works on paper, sculpture and new media art.

Louisa is available for private boat, house, portrait sessions and weddings. Private boat photography shoots make a great gift for the person who has everything. Louisa has worked with A-list clients to shoot their yachts and retreats on the Vineyard and elsewhere and is known for her discrimination.

Eisenhauer Gallery

The Eisenhauer Gallery's collection is one of the most unique on the Island. There is a diverse body of work that has been carefully selected by gallery owner Elizabeth Eisenhauer, ranging from realist, marine paintings to bold expressionism. Come visit us to see an array of works by both national and international painters and sculptures. Antiques are a new addition to the gallery as well. The Eisenhauer Gallery staff will give you any information you need on an artist or piece of work and will cater to your every need from the moment you are intrigued by a piece, to the installation of it in your home or office. About The Artist

Allen Whiting, born on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, in 1946, grew up by the landscape he loves to paint. He has a degree in studio painting from Windham College in Vermont. He lives on Martha's Vineyard on his family sheep farms, one partly shaded by stately old elm and maple trees, and the other partly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean; both have been in his family for generations. The farm continues today as a tradition in stewardship, overseen by Allen and his extended family.

On this property Allen executes many of his oils, setting up his easel in the open air, working on small wood panels as well as canvases of varying size.

Allen, his wife Lynne, and their children display his work each summer in their gallery, the Davis House, in the Vineyard town of West Tisbury; he recently exhibited in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles galleries. His landscapes are in many private and public collections around the world.
