Leslie A. (Rabbitt) Felix, 49, of Sandwich, died Jan. 26, in the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
She was born in New Orleans, La., and lived in Bourne; Vineyard Haven; Honolulu, Hawaii; Houston, Texas; Santa Barbara, Calif., and Charleroix, Mich., before moving to Sandwich. She attended Tisbury Schools and graduated from Bourne High School and attended Southern Seminary and the University of Hawaii.
Ms. Felix was a cosmetics representative for Chanel at Filenes. She later worked directly for Chanel. She was also a Health and Beauty Representative at the USCG.
She was a member of Living Hope Family Church in Hyannis. She enjoyed photography, crafts, shopping, collectibles, singing, dancing, gardening, tennis, running, the ocean, and being patriotic.
She was the daughter of Owen and Brenda (Heuer) Rabbitt of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; mother of Brendan, Jamie, Lee, Naomi, Sarah, and Bethany Felix all of Sandwich; sister of Terry Rabbitt of San Diego, Calif., and Raymond Rabbitt of Lake Park, Ga.; sister of the late Donna L. Rabbitt; sister of Deborah A. Cotell of W. Yarmouth; granddaughter of Clara Rabbitt of Vineyard Haven. She was also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by grandparents Audrey Heuer and Owen Rabbitt, Sr.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, Jan. 31, in the Tabernacle of Praise Church, 63 Hathaway St., Wareham. Burial will be in the Sandwich Town Cemetery.
