Doris V. (Wardle) Sandrock, 91, of West Bridgewater died on Feb. 5. She was the wife of Howard T. Sandrock.

Born July 2, 1916, she was the daughter of William and Florence (Cresswell) Wardle.

Doris was a long-time resident of West Bridgewater. Her career was spent working for the City of Brockton and most recently as a paralegal for the City Solicitor. She was a member of the Eastern Star; a board member of the Visiting Nursing Association; a board member of the Old Colony Elderly Services; a member of the Senior Legislators; and was on the Board of Directors for the Council on Aging. She enjoyed handcrafts, gardening, music and playing the piano.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Irene Sandrock of Vineyard Haven; three grandchildren, Howard Sandrock of Colorado, Corey Alexander Tara Clark of Absecon, N.J., and Isis Tara of Brockton; and great-granddaughter, Corinne Grace Clark.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 11 am in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to the Visiting Nurse Association, 500 Belmont St. Brockton, MA 02301. Arrangements are by the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home in Brockton.
