Jeffery C. Gear died on Feb. 5, in Oak Bluffs. Jeffery was the born in Cleveland, Ohio on Feb. 25, 1958 to Curtis and Ida (Dearling) Gear Jr. He was raised in Madison, Wis. Jeffery graduated from James Madison Memorial School. He served his country in the United States Army. Jeffery worked as a network administrator and was an avid science reader.
Besides his parents of Oak Bluffs, Jeffery is also survived by his two daughters, Victoria and Natasha; three brothers, Keith of Ventura, Calif., Kenneth of Potomac, Md., and Bruce of Randallstown, Md.; and one sister, Karen of New York, N.Y.
Services have been held and memorial donations in Jeffery's memory may be made to Vineyard House, Inc, P.O. Box 4599, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568.
