Still masterful

The Vineyard FC Masters kept their winning record squeaky clean in the Over the Hill (soccer) League by  defeating Mansfield, Sunday, 5-1. MV scorers were Skip Dostal (2), Vander "Buick" DeOliviere, Ignazio "Nacho" Vignolo, and Stephen Emery.

This Sunday the team takes on the Foxboro Warthogs.

Annie Ronella Holmes is the only woman playing in the OTHSL  Masters Division 5 South. According to team captain Neal Sullivan, she contributes her seasoned skills to VFC's "strength through diversity."

The Mansfield game was Cezar DaSilva's last game with the VFC Masters before returning to Brazil.

Skip Dostal had not played soccer since college days

but has scored three goals in his first three games with

the VFC putting him in line for the golden boot award.
