In the first of two games Tuesday, at Veterans War Memorial Park, the Creamers edged the Snaps 4-2. The Creamers scored twice in the fourth and fifth innings. The Snaps were scoreless until the seventh.

The Shady Ladies put their unbeaten record on the table versus the Honeys in the second game of the evening.

The Ladies wasted little time in posting their claim on the title. They scored multiple runs early: four in the first, five in the second, and five more in the third.

The Honeys put their mark on the scoreboard with three in the top of the second but would not add any more total until the sixth. It was too little, too late. Shady Ladies 17, Honeys 7.

The Shady Ladies remain the only team without a playoff defeat.

Tonight the Creamers play the Honeys at 6:15 pm. The loser of that game goes home to wait for next year. The winner will play the Shady Ladies next Tuesday. If the Ladies win Tuesday, that's it. If the Challenger wins, Creamers or Honeys, a second game will be played.
