Vital connection
To the Editor:
On behalf of the Oak Bluffs School, I would like to thank the Martha's Vineyard Rotary Association for its continued support of our literacy program. The connection between our community and our school is vital to our success in learning. For the past five years, Rotary has donated a dictionary to all of Oak Bluffs' third graders. This year, John Newsome, Michael Hoyt, and Adam Wilson attended our Friday morning community meeting and personally presented a dictionary to each student. We are appreciative of Rotary's commitment to our children. Thank you.
