Why no radiologist available weekends?
To the Editor:
Will someone help me to understand why there are no radiologists on duty on Saturdays and Sundays (except for emergencies) at our state-of-the-art hospital with the grand piano in the lobby? I needed a chest x-ray to confirm pneumonia on Saturday, but no dice until Monday.
