The 28th Annual Martha’s Vineyard Boys and Girls Club Fall Golf Tournament played Saturday at the Edgartown Golf Club was a huge success. The event raised more than $9,000 to support the affordable youth programs of the MV Boys and Girls Club.

One hundred twenty players enjoyed a great day for golf, on a course that was in perfect condition.

The team of Joseph Forte, Glenn Field, John Sinnott, and Jack Reagan, edged out Mike Joyce Sr., Mike Joyce Jr., Bill Jones, and John Fiorito in a tie-breaker to take the tournament championship, with both teams shooting 60 for the day.

Finishing in third place with a score of 62, were Jason DaRosa, Nelson DaRosa, Hal Lopes, and Kevin Gomes.

The MV Boys and Girls Club would like to extend a special thank you to the members and staff of Edgartown Golf Club for their continued support in hosting and organizing this wonderful event. Thanks are also due to the tournament’s contributors: Depot Corner Shell, Soigné, Shiretown Meats, Vineyard Cash & Carry, and Dippin Donuts.
