To the Editor:
Thank you to Chef Steve at the Tisbury Farm Market for a most abundant delicious feast. Just before Thanksgiving, the Tisbury Farm Market held a drawing. For every $100 you spent at the grocer, your name was placed into the drawing to receive dinner for four. We were most thrilled to hear we had won.
There were many options to choose from the menu of items, including soup, salad, a chicken, beef or eggplant parm entrées, as well as dessert. What a feast Chef Steve prepared. The dishes were fresh, organic, and most delicious.
The Tisbury Farm Market and its sister store, the Vineyard Grocer, have become my go-to places to shop. The variety of organic and specialty items is vast. The prices are a breath of fresh air in exchange for high-quality goods. The family of staff is friendly, conversational, helpful, informed, and each of them have become a part of my daily community.
Thank you to Elio Silva and family for your effort in bringing both stores to our community, as well as your generosity in support of Island causes (high school hockey appreciated your donations). Thanks to TFM’s Steve and Yanna and Vineyard Grocer’s Jessica, Mark, and Maiuch, as well as many, many others who make the shopping experience a socially bright spot in my day. I may not know your names, but your faces, smiles, and helpfulness have left an impression! Keep up the good work.
