Food Pantry prepares

The Island Food Pantry expects to open in October. “Don’t throw away those unopened cans which are not out-of-date,” said Carole Early. “Instead, put them into the Food Pantry Boxes at Cronig’s, both Stop & Shops, or the libraries. Your act will make a difference.”

People in need of food can call, make an appointment and receive food now on an emergency basis. For more information, call 508-696-4764 or visit their website at www.islandfoodpantry.org.
