This past Saturday, Randy Pease visited the Martha’s Vineyard Skatepark and brought with him a big cardboard check for $10,000. The donated money came from an art show Randy coordinated this past winter, in NYC, featuring the art of his late brother, Geoff, and other contributors that knew him.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to give someone a huge cardboard check,” Randy wrote in an email to The Times. The decision to donate money from the show to the skatepark stemmed from Geoff’s days as an avid skateboarder at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, before the skatepark was built.
