Fabric de-stash time at Oak Bluffs library

This month, the Oak Bluffs library is hosting a craft-supply recycling program, “Yarn and Fabric De-Stash,” designed to help Islanders accomplish some spring cleaning while finding a new home for unwanted fabric and yarn. According to the library, patrons should go through their personal stash of yarn and fabric and bring what is no longer needed or wanted to the library throughout the month of April. Then, on Saturday, May 2, from 10 am to 2 pm, the library will host a community giveaway of everything that has been collected.

The library will also accept patterns and small crafting equipment such as knitting needles and other similar supplies. For additional information about the initiative, call the library at 508-693-9433.
